The Jesus That Lay Hidden In The Sands

The Jesus That Lay Hidden In The Sands

The story we have been told for over 2000 years is suppose to be exclusive to Christianity, yet it has been proven that is not the case at all.

Theologian Robert Bexford, who is a Christian, investigates remarkable parallels to the Christ story in other faiths ... some of them pre-dating Christianity by thousands of years. Hindu, Buddha, and Krishna all have very simular accounts and comparisons.

The story of Jesus is not unique as one chooses to believe. The ancient Christian text that lay hidden for 1600 years has a very different version of Jesus story. The core elements of Jesus story lays in the Coptic in Cairo and it shows a very different picture of Jesus.

The most important find shows a very different Jesus through his secret teachings. The difference in these gospels is there is no mention of the virgin birth, no mention of Jesus as the son of God, and no mention of the resurrection, and for many Christians ... this is heresy.

What is clear from the discovery is that some of the earliest Christians had a very different view of Jesus ... a Jesus without the Christian dogma that Paul and his followers revealed later. And for many that is the real hidden Jesus Story ... and the documentary by Theologian Robert Beckford can be found on YouTube.

Paul borrowed ideas from other pagan gods which have been seen through age old ancient stories connected with sun worship. If you want to find the real Jesus ... it is his teachings which are important, and in particular, how they can be put into action ... today.

He would've been a revolutionary teacher, an oppressed Hebrew who challenged the higharchy of Judaism and the tyranny of the Roman Empire ... and for this reason Jesus would have been executed like any other political enemy.

What he left us with was a Universal Powerful Message to change the world for the better. And we've missed it. Too busy worshipping.

The words and actions of Jesus the man ... the secret teachings represents the spiritual guide, who's teachings embrace humanity as a whole ... ancient mystery school teachings.

I identify with this, as I too question my previous Christian faith, and by doing so feel the real Jesus is separate from the Bible version. In fact, in my mind, there is no doubt. I will even go so far as to say that I believe Jesus to be a principle and a concept.

Whoever Jesus Christ was, he left behind a riddle that two thousand years of worship have not solved. What Jesus actually taught is much more radical, and at the same time mystical.

In order to find the answer to the Jesus riddle, we must begin with radical surgery ... cutting through the time worn Jesus that we think we all know that has been presented by the church.

The traditional version of Jesus was constucted as a compromise, it accepts the essential failure's of Christs Wisdom, so we must go beyond it. I personally do not believe Jesus descended from Gods dwelling place as if coming from Zeus and Mount Olympus, nor do I believe he returned to sit at the right hand of a literal throne.

But what I do believe and respect is that this man Jesus, had acheived God Consciousness. He knew no separation between his thoughts and Gods thoughts, his feelings, his actions, and the actions of God wanted preformed. He connected to his inner Higher-Self ... the Divine within all of us.

Jesus the radical went to the root of the human condition and his approach to the suffering was to eradicate it ... literally to tear it out by the root. He stood for One consciousness, but this Jesus is in trouble when people worship him today or even speak his name, the object of their devotion is unlikely to be who they think he is.

The legacy of love found in the New Testament has been tainted with the worst intollerance and prejudice that would have appalled Jesus in real life. Most troubling of all, his teachings have been hijacked by people who hate in the name of love.

Jesus can not be embraced without embracing theology first, but theology shifts with the tide of human affairs. Metaphysics itself is complex compared to the simplicity of Jesus words. Jesus lead us out into the wilderness without a clear path out, and he became the foundation of a religion that has proliferated into some twenty eight thousand or more sects.

They argue endlessly over every thread in the garment of a ghost. The sketchy historical figure and the abstract theological creation of Jesus hold a tragic aspect, because of them we have lost the most precious Truth of what Jesus wanted his followers to understand ... and that was "how to reach God Consciousness."

Imagine the possibility that Jesus was as he proclaimed
a saviour ... not The saviour ... not the one and only son of God. Rather Jesus embodied the highest level of enlightenment that any of us can achieve.

The living Jesus of the gnostic gospels found in Egypt speak of illustion and enlightenment ... not of sin and repentance like the Jesus of the New Testament. Instead of coming to save us from sin, he comes as a guide who opens access to SPIRTUAL UNDERSTANDING of the Spark of God within all of us ... and the unity that we are each an integral part of the whole. Indivisible and inseparable from all there is.

Just a thought ...
