MIRACLES & WONDERS

MIRACLES AND WONDERS

A miracle is generally defined, according to the etymology of the word - it comes from the Greek “thaumasion” and the Latin “miraculum” - as "that which causes wonder and astonishment, being extraordinary in itself and amazing or inexplicable by normal standards."

Because that which is normal and usual is also considered to be “natural,” miracles have occasionally been defined as “SUPER-natural” events, but this definition pre-supposes a very specific conception of nature and natural laws and cannot, therefore, be generally applied.

The significance of a miraculous event is frequently held to reside not in the event as such but in the reality to which it points - thus, a miracle is also called a sign - from the Greek “sēmeion” signifying and indicating something "beyond itself."

Extraordinary and astonishing occurrences become specifically religious phenomena when they express, reveal, or signify a religious reality, however defined. Belief in miraculous happenings is a feature of practically all religions, and the incidence of miracles (i.e., of belief in and reports regarding miracles) is universal, though their functions, nature, purpose, and explanations vary with the social and cultural ... including theological and philosophical context in which they appear.

However unable to be explained, all “miracles” have an explanation in the sense that they are accounted for and categorized in terms of the religious and cultural system that supports them and that, in turn, they are meant to support.

Without the intervention or consideration of religious catalysts, these “miracles” are but only unexplained phenomena. Or are they? Anything that is able to happen, and does … is obviously natural in that it was able to occur in the first place. Using the list of Immutable Universal Laws, there can be no way of transgressing or transcending these laws because they are immutable. For example, for every effect, there must be a cause. Period. No other way around it. This is LAW.

When we speak of “supernatural” events or miracles, we frequently take them out of context. For example, we say “it’s a miracle that Bob survived that car accident.” Why is it a miracle? Why would it have to be “supernatural?” - astonishing and extraordinary perhaps (which is the original meaning of miracle) - but why must it be “supernatural?” We humans short-change ourselves in the department of “natural” ability and phenomena. If we have accomplished it, of we are capable of a task, if we completed a project, then “naturally” … it can be done.

Back to Bob … expertly trained first responders and medical personnel did what was necessary to save his life. Therefore, his survival was a natural occurrence … not miraculous. Unless, we go back to the original meaning of the word … and say it is with “wonder and astonishment” that Bob survived his injuries. But those wonders and astonishments are still natural.

Let’s look up a short definition of “natural” from Merriam-Webster:

“Having a physical or real existence as contrasted with one that is spiritual, intellectual, or fictitious , of, relating to, or operating in the physical as opposed to the spiritual world"

Now, was Bob saved physically, or spiritually? He was saved physically … in this material physical world. Obviously we can consider spiritual, intellectual, intuitive actions at work here but nonetheless … he was saved physically, in a physical world, confined to the ways of a material natural event. Therefore, it was NOT a miracle as defined by modern day churchmen - Divine intervention from a Supernatural God - it was was actually a natural event by Divinely inspired natural procedures.

My whole point here is that if it can happen here in a physical - natural world, then it cannot be “supernatural.” What happens in the realm of the body of nature - the physical - is natural. It involves the nature of the beast. What happens “supernaturally” happen in the realm of Spirit - spiritual/supernatural. It involves the Spirit of the beast. A Metaphysical event ... Beyond the natural-physical.

So the next time you witness a “miraculous” event … remember that the meaning of this word is “that which causes wonder and astonishment, being extraordinary in itself and amazing or inexplicable by normal standards.” But still … natural. Do not shortchange the powers of mankind to perform beyond the normal. To be able to raise the non-existent ceiling of endless abilities.

We’ve all heard the story of the Mother lifting a farm tractor off of her son after he got trapped under it. Was this a miracle? No … It was astonishing, extraordinary, and amazing … but still not a miracle. It did not break the immutable Universal Laws of the Universe that can never be broken … not even by God-Source itself.

Flying in an airplane to someone from the 1400’s would be a miracle to them. But it isn’t. We learned physics, jet propulsion, aerodynamics, lift, speed, weight ratios, and voila … we fly airplanes all day everyday. Now, the next time you crack an egg for breakfast, and a pony comes out … let’s talk.

Just a natural thought …

SACRED ETYMOLOGY OF THE WORD AMERICA

The Sacred Etymology of The Word America

Many believe that the word/name America is derived from the first name of Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci. Using a different approach of sacred etymology, we can search through many different esoteric sources to arrive at a deeper understanding of the name America, in a spiritual context.

The architectural landscape of Washington, D.C. provides clues as to how we should begin to find the first implementation of the sacred etymological analysis. This architecture of the Nation's Capitol, was inspired by the great colossal projects of ancient Kemet/KMT (Modern Day Egypt). According to scholars such as Mathu Ater, Anthony Browder, Ashra Kwesi and others, the builders of Washington, D.C. wanted to create a "Kemet in the West" and copied the motifs of Ancient Kemet (KMT) to symbolize their country.

When seen in the following three-part arrangement "America" becomes "A-Meri-Ca." Using the sacred etymology method, we can find correspondences with languages of other cultures, and not only those from Europe. To derive a true understanding of  "A-Meri-Ca" we begin with Kemet, which is one of the oldest and influential nations to emerge out of Africa, and one that had a profound impact on the minds of the founders of America.

AMERICA would take on the following meaning in this given arrangement:

"A-MERI-CA":

A = The

Meri =  Beloved

In ancient Kemet “Meri” (MR) by itself or attached to other words denoted a sense of elevated status. For instance, "Meri-Ka-Re" means "the beloved of the Ka of Re" or "The Ka of Re is loved." "Ta-Meri," one of the various names ascribed to the Kemetic civilization means "the beloved land." On a side note, consider all the Mary's (Miriam) throughout Biblical scripture. This name is also rooted in MR.

The first wife of Ramses II was Nefertari Meri-en-Mut. Her name translated means "The most beautiful woman, beloved of  Mut."  Ramses II, loved her so much that she was equal to him. It was recorded that together they had 4 sons and 5 daughters.

Ca =  Equivalent to "Ka." The letters "C" and "K" are interchangeable for "C" sometimes carries the same sound as "K."

"Ka" is the spirit that inhabits a body during a lifetime and can survive after - through death via mummification or by substitution. "Ka" stands for its survival.

Ka is "creative life energy" and the ka of a mortal was created at birth, and it was their belief that it remained with the body for life as a Spiritual double. Ka was sometimes depicted in art as a smaller version of the individual.

When the body died, it was the ka that remained in existence and  successfully entered the after-life, where it was sustained by grave goods and libations by the living.

Thus when combining the meanings of the  three parts of "A-Meri-Ca," we see that "America" means "the beloved eternal spirit" or "the eternal spirit that is loved."

Just a thought, and deeper look ...

MEDULLA OBLONGATA

Medulla Oblongata

After seeing the title of this article, you might be thinking what the heck does this mean? Trust me, I'm going to make this a short but very important article geared towards wrong thinking and how exactly the entire process starts, and ends. I have done my best to simply the process to make it easier to remember and to understand.

An event or experience enters the brain through a KEYHOLE called the "Medulla Oblongata." It's job, is to always ask the same question ... “what does this mean?” It kind of reminds me of an old Monty Python movie when the bridge keeper would ask one question before allowing anyone to pass ... "what is your favourite colour?"

Then the little subconscious voice in our head usually opens up the bad memory files - the old videotapes and recordings of the past - and creates a new movie in our head. This new movie is kind of like Imagination TV, and after the movie begins, our 10 million nerves accept this ITV program, and then believes it to be real. Of course, it's usually old programs on re-runs.

This process then leads to our feelings, and as a result, creates what we might call negative feelings. Then, these negative feelings establish a belief system for us. Once the belief system is established, we then develop a negative, or bad attitude. Going beyond the bad attitude, comes the final stage of the cycle ... bad actions and/or bad behaviour. It's that ego speaks to us and reminds us of what happened the LAST time ... "you know this isn't going to turn out right," "remember the last time you tried this?" etc.

In order to stop the cycle of "bad/negatively perceived events," we must change the "source perception." We must close the bad memory files ... put away the tapes, duct tape a lid on the boxes, and see each event as NEW and FRESH. Here's how we guard the gate ... and actually make that change in our source perception ... to be more mindful of what enters the keyhole entrance and how we answer the question of "what does this mean?"

So we answer the question asked of the medulla oblongata from a different perspective. We answer from our CONSCIOUS awareness and NOW perception rather than allow our subconscious memory files to apply the negative OLD bad memories to the event instead. Our subconscious mind stands ready, willing, and able to intercept that incoming signal ... And it will if we don't stop it. For some reason, we like to return to that which is familiar. It's just easier.

Trust me, if you change the way you think, you’ll change the way you live. I guarantee it. See everything as a new experience in the NOW. Your job, relationships, co-workers, even commuting in dense traffic. Look back only in reference; and only if it leads to learning and knowledge of how to perceive your current NEW event or experience in a positive way. If we base all of our experiences on old bad memory results, we can't change the negative cycles and can't break free from the ITV channel. Grab the remote, and change the channel. You can't change your current circumstances by thinking back to the old patterns and archetypes.

Just a thought ...

IN THE IMAGE OF GOD

In The Image of God

So, who is this God that people fight and kill for? Were commands ever given by this God to execute the carnage that recorded history reports? Certainly not. And I am about to explain why. Consider the following ...

Quite simply, what is called God; is the entire Universe and everything contained WITHIN this Universe, existing in the form of pure Energy; conscious, intelligent Energy in which we "live and move and have our Being (Acts 17:28 NT)." Therefore, we live in the presence of God whether chosen, or not.

At the very centre of this Divine Energy, is The SOURCE of this Energy who billions refer to as "God". This Divine Energy vibrates at ever decreasing frequencies the further outwards from The Source, until finally, at the outermost limits of The Universe, and furthest from The Source Energy is the manifestation of God with the lowest frequency, highest density of all, the physical Universe of "matter" which is familiar to all of us.

Albert Einstein proved that all is energy. Modern Science (Science means: "Proof knowledge") and Quantum Physics continue to prove what the Ancients KNEW so very long ago.

"And so, having studied the atom, I am telling you that there is no matter as such. All matter arises and persists only due to a force that causes the atomic particles to vibrate, holding them together in the tiniest of solar systems, the atom."

~Max Planck, Physicist

The physical world of matter (matter - mater - Latin for Mother - the Divine Feminine) exists at a low vibration and high density by comparison to the Universe as a Whole. Yet, it is all vibrating frequency and Energy. It is true that we are made in the Image of God, but not the personified image, not the deity in human form of the dogmatic religions, but rather we are "made", or thought into existence in the Spiritual image of God. What is God (Father - Divine masculine) then, is pure Energy ... and so too are we as human beings pure Energy made in the "imagination" or image of God (mind / mental), and we are always in the eternal presence of God, Who lives IN us, THROUGH us, and AS us. THIS, is the Divine Spark ... The offspring ... The CHRIST.

A DIFFERENT VIEW OF ROMAN AND ORTHODOX EASTER

ROMAN AND ORTHODOX EASTER

A Different View of The Celebration of Easter

I grew up Greek Orthodox, was an Altar Boy, President of our GOYA Youth Group, and a follower of the Christian belief system that I was born into and raised by. This weekend, the Orthodox Christians will celebrate the annual anniversary of a physical resurrection from the dead, by Jesus Christ.

This, is Orthodox Easter (and the Spring Equinox) ... according to the ancient Julian Calendar. The Julian calendar was introduced by Julius Caesar in 46 BC (708 AUC), and was a reform of the Roman calendar. Ultimately the calendar was changed again. This time by St. Gregory and is called the Gregorian Calendar ... still followed today, but not by the Orthodox. This is why last Sunday was Easter Sunday for the rest of the non-Orthodox Christian Followers, and this Sunday is Easter Sunday for the Orthodox.

For me however, after many years of research and deep study, along with centered prayer, and meditation, I left behind the literal and historical teachings of todays Christianity, and have found solace in the ancient allegorical, esoteric, and metaphysical interpretations. I have acquired a library of study and research materials that include all world religions, philosophies, and metaphysics. I became a Seeker of Spiritual Truth ... And it's been an amazing journey of discovery. It obviously isn't the path that many have taken, but for me ... It's been enlightening to say the least.

I can tell you that I definitely made the rounds over the years. From Orthodox Christian, to non-denominational Bible Fellowship, to even all-out atheism. Then ... I kept going. I kept looking. I KNEW that voice inside me was the voice of Truth ... And there was a force that went beyond what has been presented as Literal, and Historical ... I knew there must be something more. Beyond the surface exoteric teachings. I was after the very foundation of ALL world religions and spiritual paths ... BEFORE man added his own personal label to it. The names, locations, and details have been altered, but like a bubble at the bottom of a pond ... The Truth rises to the surface eventually.

I came to the same conclusion that Jesus had tried to explain, and that is that ... God - Source ... is the entirety of the universe, which is ONE universal living organism that we happen to call God - Source Energy. We are ALL part and parcel of this collective Source. And the Spirit and Spark of God - Source is within me ... just as Jesus had said before he was turned into another in a long history of Godmen ... This time by Rome, and ultimately worshipped as the entirety of God in the flesh - actually REPLACING God, with a man. The Truth is that all are equal, all are ONE RACE of humans joined together in consciousness and community here on Planet Earth. We breathe the same air, drink the same water, and stand upon the same terra firma.

Once we awaken to this fact, we then become HUman. HU is the ancient Egyptian God who spoke the world into existence (The Word) ... And MAN is ancient Sanskrit (Manu) meaning MIND. Therefore, to be human, is to be the Mind of God. Universal Law states that God is Mind ... And that all of creation is mentalism. All is energy ... Even matter. This, cannot be disputed. Place a rock under a microscope and you will see living cells. The inanimate, is animate at a cellular level.

My personal relationship with the Universe, or God, has never been greater than it is right now. The unifying and underlying consciousness of all things is connected thorough the Christ Consciousness. I had found the Truth, and it had made me free. Just as Jesus promised among the ancient scriptures of the Bible. Far too much to get into for one article, but I wanted to move on to the main point.

Astro-Theology And Celestial Origins

Astro-Theology, is pretty much a self-explanatory word. It is Theology that is based upon celestial knowledge. Astrotheology is the combination of two Greek words: Astro (from Greek, from astron - asteri where we get "star") and the Greek word Theo (Theos which means God - Source).

For example, translated CORRECTLY from the original Greek, the opening verse of the Book of John (1:1) Would read:

"In the beginning was the Logos, and the Logos was with Theos, and the Logos was Theos."

Rather than how it is translated today:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

This LOGOS (or Word) ... was NOT Jesus, or a book called "the Word of God." Among ancient Greek Philosophy and Theology, this LOGOS/WORD meant "the Divine reason implicit in the cosmos, ordering it and giving it form and meaning." Essentially, the Mind, becoming manifest as matter. The WORD was the ARCHETYPE ... the template of all that is.

The concept of Astro-theology is vastly ancient, as ancient as mankind itself. Past civilizations had one religion. That religion was based on the understanding of the Astrological movements of our solar system and the connection and influences that each planet has on each other and beyond. After all, there were no movies, TV, or Internet back then to occupy their time. They obsessively watched the heavens and nature, and made note of all repeating patterns.

This celestial knowledge is the basis and origin for all of of our Myths, Legends, Fairy Tales, Nursery Rhymes and Folk Lore. It is also the Pure Science developed by the very enlightened, wise and ancient priesthood that left behind for us scrolls, tablets, hieroglyphs, symbols, and the Holy Books of all world religions. The language was heavily veiled in allegory and symbolism and much of it was deliberately done to keep the higher Truths from the masses. Such powerful knowledge in the wrong hands would be disastrous. Remember that "myth" was not as we see it today. Today we think of myth as a fable, or somewhat of a story. But the true meaning of the word MYTH (MYTHOS in Greek) means that there is a Truth behind what is being said. Joseph Campbell said it best, and I paraphrase here: "A myth is something that never was, yet always is."

Among Christianity, most of the Christians and believers in “the Christ” grew up from childhood being taught a “literal-historical” understanding of the “Jesus Story” which we find in the New Testament. They had, and have no concept or knowledge that archaeology has proven today that the earliest believers in “the Christ” never understood “Jesus Christ” as a just one human who walked the hills of the Galilee. They understood deeply the Divine Concept of “Jesus (the) Christ” not in a literal sense but in an “allegorical” manner ... for more than 10,000 years before the New Testament Roman concept of a physical and literal - historical Jesus.

Jesus (Yeshua/Yehoshua in Hebrew) (Iesous in Greek) (Joshua in English) is based upon the Hebrew ineffable name of G-d ... "YHVH" (Yehova, Jehovah, Yahweh). The four letters (Tetragrammaton) are symbolic and literally mean GOD. Briefly, YHVH (Yod Hey Vav Hey) then had added to it, the Hebrew letter Shinn (S) (Meaning Saviour). This created the word-symbol "YHSVH" (Yod Hey Shin Vav Hey), or Yehoshua phonetically. This word has also been translated as Joshua, or in Greek ... Iesous, being translated as "Jesus" in English. Joshua and Jesus are the same word. The word literally means "God is Saviour." It was not so much a proper name, but a title and symbol. The same with the word CHRIST (Messiah, Krestus, Christos, Krishna, etc.). This was a title and meant "Anointed," among other symbols. It is THIS that St. Paul refers to when saying "I travail in Labour until the Christ be born in you."

Most all churches and denominations today take only literal interpretation, in every sense of the word when first approaching the New Testament scriptures, but if we study hard, and gather needed knowledge about the times and the people who generated these Ancient Divine Concepts ... we will find that beneath what we have assumed was a “literal” and “Historical" Jesus Christ, there lies a treasure of allegories, figurations, and symbolisms of the Sun, Stars, Constellations, and their path in the Heavens. This was also WITHIN us. The microcosm / macrocosm. After all,  we ARE star stuff.

The Bible was intended to be read as celestial (Stellar, Solar, Lunar and Planetary) allegories and parables based on archetypes ... universal symbols of deeper esoteric Truths that have been veiled. Then and only then can it be explained without the need for Interpretation. It is OUR-story, as much as it is HIS-story. The Bible is not a book written by God, but a book written by men about, and of their observance and concept of God ever present in the celestial heavens ... in annual recurring cycles.

The Eternal universe, regenerating itself, from within itself. A constantly recycling infinite mass of energy of which all of us are within, and a part of. Not as individual members ... things ... but as ONE thing. Eternally bound by the consciousness that brings life to ALL things.

This has been a long article, but I must cover one more important thread so that we may understand the deeper meaning of the Resurrection of Christ without it having to be literal and historical. So now, we move on to a Gnostic view.

The Gnostic View of Christianity’s Resurrected Saviour

If you can bear with me for a few short paragraphs, I offer you a different view from what you have been raised to understand as New Testament Gospel. I’m sure you will find it to be very interesting, if not; enlightening.

For those of who are unfamiliar with the Gnostics, they were basically Christians who denied the bodily resurrection of Christ. Instead they believed Christ’s body was of a spiritual nature. In other words, the Gnostics argued that Jesus Christ was not raised from the dead in a literal physical body.

Mainstream Christianity considers this statement to be blasphemy. And here’s the scripture that they often use to put the final nail on the coffin of Gnosticism:

“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist” (2 John 1:7)

Based on this scripture, the typical argument states that John was aiming this scripture at the Gnostics themselves since they denied Jesus was resurrected in a physical body. It must be rock solid proof, right? Nope. And here’s why.

Most Gnostics did not view any of the scriptures literally. As such, John’s statement is in perfect agreement with what a Gnostic would have believed. To the Gnostics, the resurrection story of Christ wasn’t about the literal man; it was about the spiritual awakening of the divine nature that can happen within each individual. This awakening happens while still yet in the flesh … while still here and alive in matter. So John’s statement rings true. Christ does come in the flesh ... OURS.

But this coming of Christ (the anointing - the Christ-ening) is the gnosis (mystical insight - knowing) attained by the individual going through a profound experience in higher states of consciousness. This entire process happens while being in a physical body. It is the born again experience of the spiritual nature which rules over the physical nature. This spiritual nature is the Christ.

This entire concept was taught among the Egyptian Mystery Schools and throughout the ancient world of spiritual mythology. The Christ (crestus -krishna - chrestos) is the begotten Son of God … the divine spirit/life force within every person. The breath that is the giver of life. Based only on goodness and righteousness, not self-serving as the base human ego is.

Based on this view, the words credited to the Jesus of the New Testament ring true. “The Kingdom of Heaven/God lies within you … and is at hand”

The “tomb” is your body … where the Christ awaits resurrection and release (hence, the empty tomb). The ancient Greeks said “soma - sema” meaning “body - tomb”. The “Son of Man” means son of mind (mind is MANU in Sanskrit and the origin of the english word man). When the ego remains attached to the natural man, it cannot be purified and transmuted into the spiritual Ego  - higher Self. When it does, it once again becomes a “Son of God” as it was before the descent into a world of matter.

There are those who have said to me "you are bound for Eternal hell for your beliefs."  I say, as many of the ancients have also said ... I am already in hell. The Underworld ... The lower realm found beneath the heavens (higher realm of consciousness). This place where my Divine Self is trapped with the tomb of the body. When we entered this physical realm, our Soul was buried. "Theosis" is our goal while here in the body. To become AS God, FROM God. To resurrect from the dead! and ascend into Heaven (Spirit). To be alive in Spirit and sitting at the right hand of the Father (Source). This is what it means to "walk with God" ... The God WITHIN. This is what it means to "pray unceasingly." THIS, is what the message of Jesus THE Christ was all about.

I will never tell you how or what to think … I only ask that you do.

Always remember …

Believe nothing.

No matter where you read it,

Or who has said it,

Even if I say it ...

Unless it agrees with your own reason,

And your own common sense.

~Buddha
