What Happens When Someone Exits The Family?

Like hitting a wall at Daytona going 200mph, you're told one day that a family member has decided to leave the family, cut off all contact, and even hire an attorney to investigate wrong-doings within the family business. No warnings, no time-trials ... just BAM ... head-on, right into the wall.

What would cause such a thing? Is it a deep seated emotional scar from long ago that simply won't heal, or was it something brand new that no one even noticed? Perhaps, it's something that privately took place within one or more members of the family in a private experience that nobody else is privy to. Whatever it was, it sure is serious. When you're a full-grown adult with adult children and you decide to pull the plug on your genetic offspring ... it's serious and it's devastating. 

This does not just affect that person and his immediate family, but it runs generations deep. From parents, to grandchildren, all are affected by this decision. Every Holiday, family gathering, birthday celebrations, weddings, religious events, etc. are all now made extremely awkward. There are many friends that are in common, business relations, and commitments. There are legal documents and family assets that must be dealt with when a parent passes away, and much more that has not even been thought of yet. Bottom line, it's like a oil slick through otherwise clean water. 

In my personal view, this is a very selfish, ego-centric act that takes no one else into consideration but themselves. Rather than trying to repair whatever known or unknown damage there may have been, they have elected to withdraw from the immediate tribe ... yet strangely ... still maintain relationships with other relatives who act as though nothing has happened. This is truly stranger than strange. One person, drawing a line in the sand of the entire family causing division for generations. How selfish and inconsiderate. 

Have I actually experienced this type of event first hand? Yes. Do I have any answers as to how to bring about resolution and reconciliation? No. Simply because it was the furthest thing from my mind that anything like this could ever manifest. It's like trying to prepare for what you would do in the event your spaceship runs out of fuel on Jupiter. Since this is highly unlikely, you never gave it any thought. 

Much damage has been done. Probably, irreparable damage ... both emotional, and financial. Of all the challenges that the experience of life can bring, both negative and positive, this type of event is certainly beyond the shadow of a doubt unnecessary, immature, and selfish. The only choice the rest of us have is to distance ourselves even further, be sure that proper legal counsel is on place, and count on a long and tiresome journey that may last a lifetime. Pray this never happens to you. It takes it's toll in many ways. I count my blessings that I am an only child.

How You're Remembered

How You're Remembered

It's the story of all of our lives. When one chapter ends, another begins ... but ... the ones left behind in the last chapter, will always remember you the way you were. 

Case in point. My early days of Radio work and being a DJ on the air was great fun at times, and not so great at times. During the not so great times there was conflict, attitude, back-talking, and general negativity. If I were to exit at that time and move on to another station, I would be remembered for the asshole that I was. 

During the times of fun, there were excellent broadcasting adventures, cooperation, respect, and mutual compassion and professionalism. If I were to exit at that time and move on to another station, I would be remembered for the awesome guy that I was. 

Now, many years have passed, and I am no longer any of those guys. I have moved on, matured, become enlightened to the way things are in the world. I am clearly NOT the same person, and in my opinion, I am a much better person now than I ever was. But how do we let the people we left behind know this? Most times, we can't. So we just let it be. 

It's a safe bet that when you run across someone that you haven't seen in years, that they have changed. Hopefully, for the positive and for the better. We should always give people the benefit of the doubt, no matter what we remember of their old self and their old ways. Sometimes, we might just be surprised. 

Today, I am friends with people who actually fired me. Funny thing is, I probably deserved it back then. I was a different person than I am now. But it was just part of this experience called life. So to the past ... I revert to the short version of the famous Ho'oponopono Prayer: "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you." Peace and namaste.

How Happy Can A Person Actually Get?

Several years ago, I actually got to witness the answer to this question. My wife and I drove to Juno Beach, Florida to visit her brother and his family at their beach house. We lived in Orlando so it was only a 2 1/2 hour drive down, and we made it a long weekend. 

Now, anyone who knows me, knows that I love the ocean, I love the beach, but I don't like actually going to the beach, sitting in the sand, swimming in the ocean, and laying in the sun. I'm more like the guy sitting in the air conditioned ocean front tiki bar having a drink and a burger and watching from a distance. 

But on this particular day, they all talked me into going beachfront for a little bit. So there I sat, under the umbrella, in the blazing sun just counting the minutes until I could bail out of the expedition and head back to air conditioned comfort. Then something caught my ear. There were very few people at the beach since this is the private section of Juno Beach and it's or residents only ... so the sounds stood out. 

What caught my ear, was this penetrating laughter of a young man who was sitting right on the line where the waves would come crashing in ... splashing him. Each time the wave came in, he screamed with pleasure and delight. It was obvious just by observation, that he was a young man with disabilities. His parents were there with their other kids and keeping a close watch on him to be sure he was safe ... and safe he was. Safe in the arms of ecstasy. Bam ... another wave and another ear piercing scream of joy and immeasurable happiness. He would throw his hands up in the air and it nearly brought tears to my eyes. 

My emotions ran wild because at that moment I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I had never experienced such a level of sheer bliss and excitement as this child splashing in the waves. He was at maximum thrill level. In those few moments, he was experiencing more incredible joy that I had ever imagined was possible. I realized that day, that it can actually happen. 

What a wake up call for all of us who consider ourselves "normal." Well, I hope that one day, I can experience his normal ... even if just for a few moments. It was exhilarating and I hope that all of us can witness it within ourselves at some time in our life here. Total, absolute, bliss. God bless him.

Let Me Introduce Myself

Let Me Introduce Myself

I am a 57 years old human. I have had many experiences in those 57 years. I am no longer gullible. I do not believe everything anyone says. No matter the subject, I investigate everything. I find the pros and cons, then I let my Spirit discern what is beneficial. And not just beneficial for me, but for everyone. 

Please do not try and sell me your religion, political agenda, or anything else that I have not inquired about. I have no need for a Saviour. I believe you should saviour self, and so I am working on that. 

I am an Ordained Interfaith Universal Minister and believe Truth can be found in all ancient holy writ. The Wisdom of the ancient Pagan world is the basis for all fundamental spiritual Truth found in the underlying layers of all faith systems. 

I do not know beyond the shadow of a doubt what literally happened thousands of years ago ... simply because I was not there. However, if I can apply those ancient teachings to my life and others, and it is beneficial, then the Truth of those teachings stands on it's own merits with no assistance required. 

I am entitled to my personal opinion on all things, as you are, and I have no intent to debate or argue anything that I present for your consideration. I merely present what my years of research has shown me. Together, if we can discuss these subjects in a mature manner, with an open mind to something that may change what we believe and bring humanity closer to unity without uniformity, then my work is complete. 

We are all energy beings, fueled by One Source of energy. We are forever bound to each other though the matrix of consciousness, and simply the air that we breath, the water we drink, and the ground that we stand upon. We were born from out of the Earth, not into it. All matter is energy, vibrating at it's lowest frequency. I am in you, and you are in me. This is universal Law. 

What we do for, or to, "other," we are actually doing to self ... simply because ... there is no other. This universe is ONE living organism of which you and I are an essence, and an integral part of the entirety of the organism. This organism, this universe, this life ... is the Source of all things, or what some choose to call God. Namaste.

What Exactly Is Nothingness Anyway?

God/Source Energy creates from Nothing because Nothingness, "ayin" in Hebrew, actually means absolute, infinite possibility. No limitations. No restrictions. None at all. Boundless ... and you and I are co-creators of this infinite potential.

When you don’t need to be any particular something, you’re free to be anything. Kabbalah calls this infinite potential "nothingness" – not because there’s nothing there, but because there are absolutely no limitations that define or restrict this infinite possibility in any way. It is the place where all potential begins. 

Remember as we talk on this subject, think of the number Zero. It is a whole entire number ... it is something ... not nothing as is assumed. Just like Infinity is also a number. In fact, most everything in the digital world operates on zero's and one's. Zero, does not mean nothing. It stores the potentiality of numbers just like all the rest. 

You’re Already Creating Something from Nothing

As a human beings created in the image of the All There Is, you are also empowered to create something from nothing. And you do, all the time. Thoughts, are things (thinks) and will manifest into physical reality every single time. Thoughts are energy and cannot be destroyed. 

Unfortunately, most of the time what we create from nothing are the stories about what we can’t do, aren’t capable of, will never have – together with all the reasons why. This is ego blocking our natural spirit-led default program of abundance and endless potentiality. 

These stories are continuously being recreated from nothing in each of our lives. But unlike Source Energy, who creates consciously, we create this reality unconsciously. It’s a sort of default programming. Yes, I understand that you have reasons for what you believe, but those reasons, while they may help to explain your past, do not have the power to limit your future. Unless you think they do, and act accordingly.

Most of us don’t wake up in the morning in awe of our own potential, in touch with our Divine purpose, filled with the joy of life, ready to create. More often we wake up all-too-conscious of our limitations, our disappointments, our frustrations, our unfulfilled needs, and the burdensome problems we need to solve. No wonder so many of us are worn out before we even get out of bed.

Change your perception and the way you think, and you will change your reality. When everyone understands the power of this ancient Truth, the world will become a better place. We will be able to create love, compassion, understanding, peace, and tranquility for all creatures. Mind the gate of your mind ... you are the Watchman, you are the Observer, and you ... are the Creator.

Has The World Gone Mad?

So has the world truly gone mad? Before we attempt to answer this question, first ... let's take Banking, Religion, Government, the Global Elite, Big Pharma, and the Mass Media out of the equation. This way, we can begin at a basic level of uncontrolled, and non-programmed, base humanity. In other words ... just regular people with regular lives. 

Once we remove all of the outside influences, we are left with the basic battle of ego versus Divine. Ego being your own self-centered, sense pleasure, and self only benefit thinking and acting. Divine being your default setting of love, compassion, peace, and joy, that can only be brought forth by taking the ego by the reigns and making the right decisions ... for ALL ... not just you. 

Herein lies the battle. It's not a literal war of weapons and military power, but it is a war of courage and willpower. If we simply stop listening to the outside negative influences, and we turn inwards for guidance and direction, we can defeat any negative circumstances. This would include an overall improvement of not only the status of the entire world, but also improvement of your own personal physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. All would benefit. 

So when we add Banking, Religion, Government, the Global Elite, Big Pharma, and the Mass Media back into the equation ... we must come to the Truth. We must understand that worker bees and worker ants feed the Queen (that would be us). Without us, without our blind acceptance and ignorant status due to missing knowledge, they can continue to do what they desire ... right under our nose. 

Be informed. Begin to research. Ask questions. You are entitled to a life of abundance. And there is plenty of everything to go around ... except that there are a few thousand people hoarding resources and controlling finances. You can't have a sporting event, unless you have team players, and spectators. Without players, there would be nothing to play ... and without spectators, there would be no money to be made. We can have a voice simply by the way we purchase products, mind our thoughts, improve our actions, and above all ... learn their game ... and don't suit up. Remember, the best way to control the opposition, is to own the opposition. So be careful with what forces you join. You may be helping to progress the negative powers without even knowing it.

Let's face it ... the only way to control 7 billion people, is to keep them stupid, uninformed, and under a spell of deception at all times. All the music, concerts, party spots, nightclubs, professional sporting events, etc. are all ways they keep us busy and distracted. When we see a school shooting on the news ... know that there is something much larger taking place and this event is a distraction. Wake up, empower yourself with Truth. Become who you were meant to be ... and make today the day that you plan to enjoy your life. Help to end the suffering for all living creatures on this planet. Ask yourself, has the world gone mad? Or, has the world not become mad enough ... mad enough to stand for whats right, whats true, and whats good for all.

Final The Rapture Movie - Fiction

If you are interested in considering another view of this Fundamentalist Christian teaching error, then stay with me for a few paragraphs. This event is in no way literal or historical prophesy. It is not my intent to expose false teachings, but to merely present what has been found to be the Truth after careful exegesis by many leading Scholars over the last 200 years. So, if you're game ... here's something you'll not hear from the pulpits or the Televangelists. 

Over the last few years, "rapture" movies and books have taken off like wild fire. The basic premise is a literal mistranslation of biblical events that wreak havoc on planet earth. Seven years of tribulation, under rule by the Anti-Christ, murder, mayhem, violence, destruction, theft, vandalism, plane crashes, car crashes, people dying ... all up until the return of Jesus Christ to gather his believers in the clouds, and leave behind a miserable existence for those who did not accept his status as God. It's quite the story ... but story it is. Fiction. Every part of it, unless of course, you have the right and true understanding that these stories are all allegorical myths describing what is to happen inside mankind ... not from the outside. 

The Bible is called the Gospel, which literally means "Good News." So, where do we find good news in any of these forecasted events. In fact, most of them are already part of our daily human self-serving egocentric society. The stories contained in the Bible, and so many other religious documents are metaphors. They are stories with deeper Truths contained below the surface. Historic and literal interpretation are of no value. It is the inner/esoteric message of the Truth contained deep within the stories that is of great value. 

What Is The True Meaning of The Rapture

The "Rapture of The Saints" is not about flying around the clouds being taken out of the miserable world and into the Paradise of Heaven. It is a strange non-biblical based doctrine that’s been going around for hundreds of years. Millions of people believe in it. Some are so sure of it that they are willing to go to extraordinary lengths to prepare for it, even quitting their jobs and selling all their worldly possessions. What scripture would cause someone to do something so foolish ... knowing that the very word “rapture” isn’t even in the Bible ... Latin, Greek, Hebrew, or English?

There is an ad that pops up on Facebook quite often for yet another new Rapture Movie ... "Final The Rapture." This is another scare and fear movie that has people believing that planes will be falling out of the sky, trains will derail, cars will be abandoned on the highway, and loved ones will disappear in their shoes. The FB Ad will not allow any comments unless you "like" the page. Which I will not do. So, in this article, I apply my comment ... my own personal warning after many years of research and study ... "The Rapture is not a literal-historical event."

In fact, over 365 times in the English Bible people are told "do not fear." Jesus The Christ prayed for a "world without end, amen." WE create the future. WE manifest reality ... according to our thoughts and actions. It cannot be preset. It unfolds with every nanosecond depending on what WE create as reality. But it all begins with mind ... within. INSIDE of us ... not outside of us.

Just like true esoteric baptism, the scriptural description of rapture is about what happens during contemplative prayer, and meditation ... within us. It has nothing to do with literal people flying in the air to meet Jesus Christ. People don’t fly. This fact is not going to change unless we grow wings and feathers. The ancient scripture writers knew this as well. They certainly didn’t mean that people would fly to the clouds literally.

" ... the Kingdom of Heaven cometh not with observation."

(Luke 17:20)

In other words, the kingdom of Heaven/God is not something that you will observe with your eyes. You can’t look around and see it. No one will see anyone else fly in the air, either. No one will meet their past loved ones in the clouds. In fact, the whole event isn’t about anything that happens outside of you. So where does it happen?

“…the Kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21).

The entire Bible and all of its stories happen within you. If you’re going to understand the Bible, you have to see all of its stories and parables as something that happens within you. The stories are not historic and literal. Ask any well-researched professional.  

Take the time to enter your Holy Temple ... within you. Take more time for yourself and meditate. When you’re ready, you’ll know when it’s time to begin meditation for the purpose of higher awareness. Hopefully, you’ll experience the “rapture” and realize that all those people who are still waiting for it to happen are only deluding themselves. Then maybe you can help them see the truth if they become open to it.

What Exactly is The Second Coming of Christ?

 

The second coming of Jesus is something that has been predicted for hundreds of years. When we take a close look at the scripture we find that Jesus told his followers that he would return before ... some who were present at the time ... tasted death. That would place his second coming within the lifetime of his youngest followers. In the Gnostic literature we also find that Jesus had returned after an absence of some 500 days; about a year and a half. In the Gospel of Mary Magdalene Jesus had clearly returned and has prepared to leave again.

Other records indicate that Jesus moved to Egypt following what was claimed to be his crucifixion and resurrection. Jesus and a new set of students have been placed in Egypt near the Valley of the Kings. There was a Temple built to the exact specifications of the Temple in Jerusalem on Elephantine Island. For many followers of Judaism, this was the real Temple after the Romans and their politically appointed priests had polluted the one in Jerusalem.

This is also the locale for the writing of the Gospel of Thomas and the Nag Hammadi scrolls ... they were found not far from there. In the Gnostic tradition the second coming is clearly a spiritual event, not a physical one. This second coming occurs within us. It is the activation of our Christ Consciousness ... our Divine Spark of God. The Divine within each of us. Certainly not the ego driven self, but the Spirit driven Higher Self. 

The mystery school system had a level of initiation, missionary work, discipleship and an advanced level of apostleship. The apostleship level was equivalent to spiritual enlightenment; what people now refer to as the Christ Consciousness. The Christ Consciousness is actually a better term, as it clearly identifies the experience as one of consciousness, rather that the enigmatic term enlightenment.

Jesus told his followers that He and the Father were One. This statement was never intended to be taken literally ... as He being God and the entirety of God, but was instead referred to a strong conscious inter-connection with God. In Michael Baigent’s book “The Jesus Papers” two documents are identified as Jesus’ written response to the charges of blasphemy by the Sanhedrin. 

The claim against Jesus was that he was claiming to be the actual Son of God. Michael Baigent states that the documents explain what was meant: "that Jesus was not THE actual Son of God, but 'A' Son of God as was recorded in the original Greek language Gospels. He shared a strong conscious connection with God, and that everyone that experienced such a connection and state of consciousness would also be entitled to be called a Son of God." This was the original pre-Roman teaching.

Through this explanation we clearly see that Son of God was a state of consciousness, not a physical relationship. As such, there were a number of “Sons of God” that were a part of many established communities at that time. Unfortunately, the Roman Church wiped out most of them.

Following that pattern in later years when a spiritual student completed his or her training and reached the apostleship level, the experience gradually became known as the coming of Christ, or the emergence of the Christ Consciousness within that person. 

By convention then, the Second Coming of Christ is the emergence of the Christ Consciousness within an individual, not a collective physical event as is portrayed by the Christian Church. There have in fact been countless Second Comings over the past two millennia as many individuals have reached that level of spiritual experience, and there will be many more to come.

Keep in mind also that many of the events portrayed in the Old Testament considered to have taken place among the ancient Hebrews ... did not. Many Scholars and Professors at Tel Aviv University and many Israeli Archaeologists will confirm this. 

Contrary to the predictions of the return of Jesus in person, no such event will take place. As with so many things in true Christianity, the events and concepts apply to changes in awareness and consciousness, not physical, historical, and literal events. Just as salvation is not as it is portrayed in the literal sense, but is a transformation in spiritual consciousness, so too is the Second Coming a transformation in a person’s spiritual consciousness and connection to God/Source Energy, not an outer physical event.
