PLEASURE AND PAIN

PLEASURE AND PAIN

We all have ONE central nervous system, running through the spine (the serpent/snake). 12 cranial nerves (12 apostles) leading to the brain. Notice the side of our skull is called "the temple" because this is where God/Source sits upon the throne. The place in the New Testament story where Jesus was crucified is called "Golgotha." This translates to "place of the skull." Within us lie two opposing forces - God, and Satan. This is Divine Higher-Self consciousness, and ego-based lower-self consciousness. Stay with me.

The central network for the nervous system is the solar plexus. The word origins of "solar plexus" is a reference to resemblance between the radial network of nerves and ganglia, and the rays of the sun. This sun, is the Sun of God, and all that we are, radiates FROM here. It is there, within the Mind where our self-centered ego will crucify Jesus (the old nature man), and where upon illumination, we come to the reality that the Christ Consciousness is within us, and then resurrects as the Divine Christ (the new Divine nature Son of God).

So in order for us to learn and discern the difference between our opposing powers of God (Divine Self) and Satan (ego-self), we are presented with duality. But these TWO things are actually ONE thing presented in a range of polarity so that we know the fruits from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (bad). Duality exists in everything, but is in reality a range of one principle. Such as cold and hot, day and night, smooth and rough, bright and dim, soft and hard, tall and short, and pleasure and pain.

Both pleasure and pain are sourced in our one central nervous system. Electrically. kinetically, and as far as energy and information, they are delivered to us exactly the same ... from ONE system and are exactly the same except for the range of polarity in which we sense them. Pleasure feels good, pain does not. But they are both a feeling.

If we did not have pain, we would not know pleasure. If we did not have darkness, we would not know light. We need them both, we need to eat from both trees, to find our way back to the Tree of Life. The goodness, righteousness, and pleasure that Life can bring. The serpent in the garden (the Mind) is the catalyst for us to appreciate goodness and pleasure. If everyday was sunny, we would not know what a rainy day was like.

Even energy and all things around us in the realm of the unseen function and operate based on positive and negative charges. Electrons, protons, neurons, molecules, atoms, everything that comprises all things including sound waves, light waves, radio waves, all are in flux and moving up and down all the time. Even the waves of the ocean are up and down. Everything experience is our life is either up or down. They cannot be both at the same time. But we can handle the ups and downs spiritually and emotionally with our free will and perception.

You've never truly seen yourself. You can't. Because your eyes are in your face/head, and the visual center of perception is located within the darkness of your brain. To see an image of your entire self, you would need a reflection. Once you have seen the reflection, you learn and know that the reflection is nothing but an illusion, but it is there to show you ... YOU. We need TWO so that we can see there is ONE.

Therefore, both pleasure and pain are the same ... just varying degrees of polarity. On one end of the spectrum there is the positive pleasure, and on the opposite end is the negative pain. Same line of reference, same system of delivery, so the two are one. This was also the teaching of Adam (positive/masculine) having Eve (negative/feminine) taken from his "side" (rib was the wrong word translation). It was Adam finding Eve and creating one union. We are each masculine and feminine. We are all Creators of our reality. The two become as one, and there is Love. The begotten of God/Source.

I hope you got something out of this one. It is a very long and deep teaching that is difficult to present in one short chapter. More will come in later writings.

WHEN POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE BECOME ONE

WHEN POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE BECOME ONE

One of the Universal Laws is Polarity. It is a "range" of one principle. For example, hot and cold are ranges of temperature. Smooth and rough are a range of texture. Day and night are a range of light. There are many others, good and bad, black and white, happy and sad, all extremes of one principle. Nothing escapes this Law. So, if you are in darkness, you are in the absence of the other end of the spectrum ... light. So darkness is the absence of light. Somewhere along the way, as with the use of a dimmer switch, there is a range dial of sorts. As you turn the dial, you go from darkness to light, and from light to darkness. But where is it that we decide what is light, and what is dark. Where is it along that dial that makes one change from the other. It is simply a range, a position, it is a gradual transition from one to the other. But there is a dial ... a catalyst to use as a tool for the actual transition.

Positive and negative are frequently cast as good and bad. But they are not seen that way in the Law of Polarity. They are simply opposites of the same principle. When you look at a battery, there is a positive side and a negative side. But there is no good side or bad side to a battery. The same for magnets. Positive and negative, but not good and bad. Just polarity ... measurement across a scale. Even our calendars are positive and negative based on the acceptance of the year zero. This means everything forward of zero is plus, and everything backwards of zero is minus. For example the year 2,ooo is +2,000 or 2,000CE. The year 2,000BCE is then -2,000. The reference point is zero. Like the needle on a gauge. If you're using a metal detector, there is a needle (or beeping) that is the indicator of getting closer to metal. The closer you get to one side of the dial, the needle moves closer to that side. The further you get, the needle moves to the other side. It is the needle ... that is the indicator. Just as zero on a weight-balancing scale uses a center position needle when items are properly balanced.

The Law of Polarity gives us a range of the same thing. They are two extremes of one thing. Positive and negative are merely steps and measurement along the path of one principle. Whether you're experiencing a good day, or a bad day ... what you are truly experiencing is a day with the potentiality of good or bad (un-good) events. Everything is potential. We create the world around us through our thoughts, decisions, beliefs, and actions. There are immutable Laws that guide the universe. They can be used for benefit, or for consequences. It is up to us how to use them. We have our own inner needle or pointer that helps guide our way through the various polarities of every situation we think about or experience. Listen to your internal GPS, to guide you through the negative and positive polarities on your way to discerning the intended position along the way of the principle you are experiencing.

BALANCING YOUR SCALES OF THOUGHT

BALANCING YOUR SCALES OF THOUGHT

Try and imagine a balancing scale. Not just for overall weight, but one that has to have something on two opposite sides. Kinda like the Scales of Justice image so familiar to us all. Got it?

Now, you know that in order to keep perfect balance, there must be the same amount of weight on one side as the other. If there are 100 quarters on side A, there must be 100 quarters on side B in order to keep the scale centered at zero thereby obtaining perfect balance and polarity.

If you take away a quarter from one side, you have to replace it with something of equal weight. Of course, you could take a quarter off of both sides and maintain equal balance as well. But this article is about replacement. So let's say in order to balance the scales properly, they have to maintain a certain specified weight in totality. So, removing equal parts will not help you reach the goal specified.

Another quick example is that of a weightlifter. If you are going to lift up a set of barbells, there is always equal weight on both sides. You don't want to lift weights with 50 pounds on the left, and 150 on the right. Your right arm will end up being way bigger than your left ... thus ... not achieving physical balance concerning your muscle structure. It will also hurt your back and other body parts because of the imbalance of the weights.

One of the Universal Laws is balance and polarity. There can't be more on one side than the other. If you're balancing a pencil on your finger, there has to be the same amount of pencil on one side as the other. This is Law. The secret of the universe is that all odds are 50/50. The casinos know it, the banks know it, the sports team owners know it, and the successful gambler knows it.

If you gamble, and you are at a casino, as long as you have deep enough pockets ... you will win … eventually. The problem is that most people can't afford to stay in play long enough for the rules of the universe to kick in. If you flip a coin 100,000 times ... at the end of the 100,000, it will have landed 50,000 times face up, and 50,000 times tails up. You just have to be able to commit to lasting through the 100,000 flips. Understand?

Now let's get back to balancing your thoughts. Thoughts become things. All thoughts will manifest into form. This is Universal Law. Cause and effect. As a man thinks, so he becomes. Sowing and reaping ... ancient Laws. If you plant a watermelon seed, you will harvest watermelons. If you plant weeds, you will harvest weeds. The seed (thought) contains what will be brought forth in the harvest.

So knowing this valuable information ... guard your thoughts very carefully. Your thoughts will lead to your actions and your behaviour. If you should have a "bad" or "dark/negative" thought ... then just like the balancing scale ... replace it immediately with a different thought that is good and positive. It wouldn't hurt to actually say "cancel" out loud if a bad thought enters your mind. But you can't leave a void. You can't simply think "well I just won't think about that again." You have to negate it … by replacing it. You cant leave a hole, where something once occupied the space. Nature knows this. Try leaving a hole in a water puddle. Or poke a hole in the air.

Also very important ... keep all thoughts on a level of positive polarity. meaning this: Do not say "I will not have a bad day" because the universe and the default of nature is creative. It does not comprehend "don't. won't, can't, shouldn't, etc." If you say "I will NOT have a bad day" ... your subconscious mind and the creative aspect of universal consciousness can only hear and understand "BAD DAY." It cannot discern or comprehend the NOT. Same thing with anything else. Keep your affirmation, prayers, meditation, all in the range of positive polarity. Don't say "I won't drink today" because the Mind and the power of all that is creative can only understand "drink today" ... and so you shall.

When you see a sign at the lake with a drawing of a man swimming with a red circle around it and a red line thru the circle ... it means NO SWIMMING. But in our thought system, there is no understanding of the red circle and red line. If you're NOT swimming, you are clearly do something else. Therefore, you cannot ... NOT swim. You cannot ... NOT park there. You cannot ... NOT loiter. Your Mind and the universe knows that if you are not swimming, parking, or loitering ... then you must be doing something else. You cannot ... NOT ... be doing something. Got it?

Now, back  to thought. The immutable Law of cause and effect states that for every effect, there must first be a cause. In order for us to effect in form and matter ... we must first have the thought. Thought always comes before manifestation. Even if you're going to walk into the kitchen, you must first have the thought to walk into the kitchen.

When you experience ANY negative polarity thoughts, immediately REPLACE them with something of a positive polarity. For example ... "this traffic scares me" VS. "I'll be fine in this traffic." or ... "I will not be scared in this traffic" VS. "at least the traffic is letting me slow down my pace a bit." Always ... always ... stay in the positive polarity position of thought and your Life (scales) will remain in balance. Your bad day, will soon be replaced by a great day. Know it. It is immutable LAW.

All things in this universe are energy and are as waves ... up and down. Always up and down. When you truly understand this, your Life experience will be immensely better and so will everyone else around you … wondering what you're doing that they aren't. Be  responsible. Be the change you want. And it will spread faster than word of free tickets for a reunion tour of your favourite band.
