GUARD THE TEMPLE OF YOUR MIND

What if you were in charge of guarding the King's Palace, or the Temple of the holy? How serious would you take this position?

I think you'd be would be very careful about who is allowed to enter within. You'd also be very careful to make sure that the right people are leaving the building.

While on duty, you wouldn't be texting with friends. You wouldn't be staring into space. You wouldn't be thinking about what you're going to have for your dinner, or how far away the weekend is.

You would be wide awake. Nothing gets in or out without you knowing about it. You need to protect the King. You need to protect the sanctity of the Temple. Thats your job, and your commitment. 

Well then, why not act in the same way with your Mind?

Your eyes and ears are the main doorways into your Mind (including your subconscious). Don't blindly allow anything to enter into them. Don't easily be influenced by outside sources. 

Likewise, be vigilant about what comes out of your mouth. What expressions do you use? How do you react to negative situations? Do you curse and sigh? Or do you take a deep breath, smile; and say something that helps the situation?

Guard everything that enters and leaves your Mind. Guard the Temple. Why do you think the sides of our heads are called temples? The mercy seat of God resides within you. 

Unfortunately, some of the most cunning negative thoughts enter and leave your Mind all the time. They sometimes disguise themselves as friendly thoughts. Or at least “harmless thoughts.” It's easy to think that they are helping you. In truth, they are secretly plotting your fall.

Some of our closest and most trusted subconscious patterns may be out to ruin us. Even more difficult is dealing with all the negative subconscious thinking that has already found a seat in our subconscious Mind. How much of this did you see through your life? 

The point is, self-sabotaging thoughts have already compromised your mental guard. Assassins to your happiness and success already live inside your head.  They moved in a long time ago, and they are constantly renovating. That's why it's essential to know exactly WHICH experiences from your past are driving your innermost thoughts and the resulting actions.

One way to begin, is to sort out which ones are your true friends and allies, and which ones are always ready to stab you in the back.

Identify the Negative Childhood Imprints that have helped create many of the challenges in your life. This is difficult to figure out by ourselves – since the Truth may be the opposite of what we think.

Isn't it time to fill your Mind with the right subconscious thoughts so that you can become the Ruler of your own life? “As a man thinketh, it is done unto him.” Remember these words. They have stood the test of time through proof knowledge. 

Guard the gate to your Mind.

TIME OF OUR LIVES

Let's say that it's 5pm. And you want to go dinner at a place that's one hour away. You get in your car, drive on the highway most of the trip at 55 miles an hour, and you're there by 6pm. You just traveled, let's say, 45 miles from where you were, yet if you had not moved and stayed at home in your chair, it would still be 6pm. So, technically, if  you hadn't traveled 45 miles, it would still be the same time as if you had. Does that seem a bit strange to you?

In  one scenario, you're sitting still, and in another you're moving at 55mph, yet you arrive at the same measurement of time either way. So whether you're flying in an airplane at 900mph, or sitting in the terminal watching TV, you're not “saving” any time. And if you're not saving any time, then technically, you're not “wasting” any time.  Got it?

The point is, no matter what you're doing, there is only NOW and that's all there is. The past has passed, the present has yet to be created, and all there is ... is now. In fact, the Truth of it all is that the past, present, and future all exist right now. EVERYTHING that exists, exist right now. Yeah, I know, you're thinking I'm nuts - what is this guy trying to tell me?

All that was and all that every will be are already HERE ... in this Universe (YOUniverse). Either in Spirit, matter, or the potential combination of both. Humankind is the great re-arranger. What we do is take stuff that's already here, and we rearrange it into other stuff. But it's the same stuff that's always been here that we use to make the other stuff with. The materials already exist. Carl Sagan was asked once how to make an apple pie from scratch. His reply was “you must first invent the universe.” Everything we ever need or desire must and does come from what is already here. All we have to do is attract it to us.

Time, is defined as “the indefinite continued progress of existence in the past.present, and future regarded as a whole.” Remember also, that TIME is an observed phenomenon, by means of which human beings sense and record changes in the environment and in the Universe. The true literal definition is ... well ... elusive. Time has been called an illusion, a dimension, a smooth-flowing continuum, and an expression of separation among events ... that occur in the same physical location. It has also been said that time, is what keeps everything from crashing together all at once. 

Think about this. You're having a cup of coffee in Florida, your friend Steve is typing a letter in Arizona, your aunt Helen is knitting a sweater in Winnipeg, your social media friend Katherine is lunching in Paris, and your brother Phil is on vacation in Japan having a late night drink ... all at the same moment ... the exact moment ... but NOT, at the same time. We have designed time zones based upon earth, solar, lunar, and planetary cycles. So even though all of the is happening at different times, it's all happening right now. So if you live in Georgia and you're watching the 11pm newscast on TV, people in Asia are already experiencing tomorrow and having breakfast before their workday starts. It's already tomorrow, and you haven't even gone to sleep yet. 

The ancients had a symbol of a snake eating its tail in a circular image. The 360 degree circle also represents eternity, an endless cycle. From sunrise to sunset ... a full day and night we measure as 24 hours. We see the illusion of a timeline, but it's really more than that. At multiple places along the timeline, we go out, and come back in using cycles of events. But the world, the Universe is always in motion and always cyclical ... yet without beginning or end ... regenerating, renewing, re-genesis. Like a fountain that recycles the same supply of water, the universe recycles the same energy, Laws, matter, and nature. 

Yet through all of this, everything in life has a sunrise, high-noon, and sunset. This was the original Trinity among the Gods of the ancient myths. God would resurrect every morning, would reach peak power at high-noon, and then begin the transition to death at sunset. Nothing escapes this cycle. It is endless and everything must submit to it's inherent design. There is a beginning, a middle, and an end. There is the origin, the journey, and the destination. We are human BEINGS. “Being” means to exist. And we exist right here, and right now. With every breath we take we in-spire, and we ex-pire. We live, and die ... and have our being within the great Universe of Mind. Call it God, Absolute, Origin, Source Energy, or whatever label(s) you choose ... there is a power that keeps the cycle of the Universe moving forward, expanding inward and outward, and regenerating ... all at the same “time.”

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE LORD

We see it throughout the Bible. Lord this, Lord that, Big "L" little “l” and presumably used to describe God and /or Jesus. But what is this word “LORD” all about anyway? 

From the Greek, we find it to be “Kyrios/Kurios,” a masculine noun meaning Master, Sir, and properly; a person exercising absolute ownership rights. A title of honour, expressive of respect and reverence with which servants would salute their Master. From the Greek Lexicon, we find “to whom a thing or person belongs to, the owner or controller of  person or thing.” When we look to the etymology of the word in English we find "”Master of a household, or ruler, superior.” We see a modern use on terms like “Landlord,” the owner of something that is being rented, etc.

So if we see the use of Lord in a Bible translation in reference to God or Jesus, what we are saying is that “they” own us. They rule us. They are our Masters, and that makes us their slaves. We are subjected to their household rule, and their rules. So, the question we have to ask is ... is this under our own willingness as a decision of our free will, or was it imposed on us with no choice in the matter? In actuality, it is both. Because in those days of early Christianity, Emperors, Priests, and Kings ruled over the people and made the decisions for them. And many of them considered themselves Gods, and even demanded to be worshipped as such. The rabble, or commoners; had no choice in the matters in a literal sense. But just as no one cannot prevent you from thinking, no one can prevent you from making an inner decision between Mind, heart, and Spirit, even if you must line up among the sheep and follow the Shepherd. 

We are told by words credited to Jesus in the New Testament, that “you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you FREE.” Yet, having a Lord ruling over you, in no way depicts freedom. Particularly, one who is your Master. It, instead, is captive enslavement. So either you are a willing slave, or an unwilling slave. Either way, you're a slave and far from free. This creates quite the dilemma. So then, how do we find the way to the intended path of so many references to Lord in Biblical scriptures?

While keeping in mind that the Bible was NOT originally written in English. It was Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Now, let’s look at one more thing: The noun and name of Lord and it's origins. In pre 7th century Britain, the word LORD actually meant “loaf-keeper.” It referred to a time in which the appointed village chief had among his responsibilities, to ensure that his tribe or village was being properly fed. A latter position was “Lord of The Harvest” which was in fact a managerial position of employing harvest workers and negotiating their wage rates. Now we're getting somewhere. 

So there is a "Lord" ... that is someone who is responsible for making sure all the people are being properly fed. This can be taken physically, and we can also take it metaphysically as in “The Bread from Heaven,” Remember the symbolism: Bethlehem (means House of Bread), Virgo (the Virgin), holding a wheat chaffe, the communion of bread and wine - the Eucharist (which means thanks in Greek).

So now we transition now from the MODERN use of the word LORD as in Master or Owner, and we see there is leadership and responsibility for sustenance both physically and spiritually. So if Jesus, or God, is Lord ... then those who follow (or eat) of the teachings are then under the guidance, responsibility, and leadership of this Lord. The same it was for every wise man, sage, hierophant, and shaman throughout history.

Whatever your decision has been in your religious preference, following the works of those who do good ... can't be bad. After all, would you rather work for Superman, or the Joker? Either way, it seems that this word Lord has a direct correlation to one who has influence over us ... whether voluntary, or involuntary. Perhaps ... that little piece of “curiosity” that makes all of us wonder about the existence or non-existence of a God whether within, or without ... sounds awful close to the word Kurios for good reason? Perhaps that “curiosity” (Kurios-ity) within us all, sparks a journey of discovery while we try and seek why we're here, and who or what put us here. You ever wonder why people say “I really went out on a limb for this” ... it's because that's where the fruit is.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE WORD OF GOD? (SHORT)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

~Book of John

Within this scripture, is the concept of “Word” ... an inadequate rendering of the original Greek term “Logos,” which was one of the most important concepts of the ancient world. Remember, the New Testament was originally written in Greek, not English. What we have in the modern Bible is Greek, translated down into the less adequate Latin, and THEN translated into English.

In the ancient Greek, “Logos” had many meanings based on a translation of a translation. So the writer of the Gospel of John is not really saying the “Logos” is “the Word” because when the Greek New Testament was translated into Latin, “Logos” became “Verbum;” and when the English King James translation was made from the Latin version, “Verbum” became “Word,” twice removed from the original text. Got it? More than likely, you're rightly confused. 

The Greek word LOGOS “Logos” designates the power of “reason,” the pattern or order of things, the principle of relationship, and an organized articulation of something ... the Archetype of something.

“Logos,” as a principle, is the natural order of things, the principle of reason, relation, and harmony, which exists both within the natural fabric of the universe and within the human mind. 

The Greek understanding of the “Logos” is mystical and cosmological thought. In early Christian thought, the idea of The “Logos” - in a cosmic sense - encompassed all of these meanings and refers to the underlying Order of the Universe, the blueprint on which all creation is based. In short, the Mind and order of what many would call “God.” 

In ancient Egypt, the “Logos” is related to the principle of Nous or Universal Intellect, the basis for all of creation. And as the image of Divine Intellect, humanity is ITSELF the living, incarnate image of the “Logos.” Notice, “humanity” - ALL of it - and not just one person. This is an all-inclusive relationship. 

The author of the Gospel of John is saying that in the beginning with God ... was NOT a human or fleshly man ... but a harmony and natural order of things. That in the beginning with God, was an ordered pattern and blueprint for all creation in the Mind of God. And in doing so, there existed a relationship between the invisible realm of pure Spirit and Energy (God/Source) and the realm of physical existence (Matter/Earth). Both, were in absolute harmony.

In the beginning with God was this harmony and order and reason of God that would be manifested later in creation. This “Logos” was not a man, but a emanation from God OF Himself (or, ITself) and an extension of His image that would mediate between the realm of pure Spirit (heaven/unseen) and the realm of matter (mankind/seen). It would be through this “Logos” (masculine) and the “Sophia” (feminine) that God would manifest His invisible presence into the physical and visible world of mankind, and He chose to do it within His creation (mankind).

The Book of John - Chapter One - when referring to “the Logos” is not referring to a human being named Jesus but rather to a Spiritual concept that is found within every person. The Logos which is “Yahweh's Salvation.” Remember also, thats the phrase “God Saves” or “God Is Salvation” was derived from the Hebrew aleph-bet (alphabet) symbolic letters YHWH (Yod Hey Vav Hey). By adding the Hebrew letter/symbol "Shinn" these letters collectively mean "God Is Saviour" ... YHSWH. Consider also: YAHWEH, JEHOVAH, YEHOVA, YAH, YESHUA, JOSHUA, and in Latin IESUS, and in Greek IESOUS. The letter "J" does not exist in Hebrew or Greek and wasn't even created and added to English until the 1500's, hence ... Jesus.

So, in summary, the word “Word” comes from the Greek, “Logos.” The Greeks used Logos for the spoken AND unspoken word, the word still in the Mind, the reason. When applied to the Universe, Greeks were speaking to the rational principle, the Divine reason, or plan, which coordinates the entire cosmos, that governs all things. 

Know also the Greek word for God was "Theos", the original writing of the Gospel of John stated:

“In the beginning was the Logos, and the Logos was with Theos, and the Logos was Theos.”

Isaiah 14:12 - Hebrew Old Testament - NEVI'IM (The Prophets)

" חוֹלֵשׁ עַל-גּוֹיִם. יב  אֵיךְ נָפַלְתָּ מִשָּׁמַיִם, הֵילֵל בֶּן-שָׁחַר; נִגְדַּעְתָּ לָאָרֶץ, "

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, that didst cast lots over the nations!"

In the KJV (King James Version - and ONLY in the KJV) we read the same verse: 

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O LUCIFER, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” 

More modern translations ... except for the NKJV ... have the proper translation of the word LUCIFER as “day star” or “morning star” instead of the Latin word "Lucifer."

LUCIFER literally translates from the Latin (because it is not in the original Hebrew text) (Phosphoros in the Greek) as "Light Bringer, Morning Star, Venus, etc." because this morning star ushers in the "SUN of God" every morning in the celestial kingdom. And allegorically, this light ushers in the Christ within each of us.

Now ... this will more than likely be the first time you have heard of these Truths so get ready for some enlightenment. The ancient civilizations already knew of the concept of the "Lightbearer" and "Lucifer" and they used this symbolism for thousands, and thousands of years ... to depict the "indwelling Krst/Christ" within all humanity. 

This means that for thousands of years, until the rise of western theology, the concept of "Lucifer" was likened to the "incarnated Christ" who brings light to our darkened Souls incarnated, trapped and mummified in "matter/form" and "crucified in the bodies of 'matter/form'". The Greeks termed it to be "SOMA/SEMA" or ... symbolically, the body (soma) is a tomb (sema). 

The ancient Spiritual Wisdom and symbol of Lucifer, the ancient symbol for "the indwelling Christ", was altered into becoming Satan and evil. Lucifer and the devil are not one in the same. Much in the same way as Venus ushers in the Sun of God each and every morning - preceding the sun in the heavens every morning. 

Now read the verse again with MAN as allegorical reference ... in this case, the King of Babylon - the original allegorical character in this scriptural message.

"How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain."

~ Isaiah 14:12

It is the unseen Divine Soul of man (the christed one) who is eternal and has forgotten he is the Lord's begotten. When we follow our human ego rather than Divine Order and Law (God) ... we fall from the sacred mountain and fall to the dense state of matter (the lowest level of vibrational energy) rather than our eternal state of Spirit (our highest state of vibrational energy). Welcome to earth school. 

Here we have the insertion of a "Christly Spiritual Concept" inserted into the Hebrew Scriptures where it never originally was. Don't believe it? Study it, research it, reference it. 

Mankind, is the begotten son of god. We are one in Spirit ... one in consciousness ... and the microcosm of the macrocosm. Whether you believe in - creationism, or big bang ... everything came from something, and that something is in all things visible and invisible. The point of origin for ALL things leaves within those things traces of itself thereby unifying all of creation.

So, Lucifer (Lucent/Luminescence/etc) is the Bringer of Light, not the Lord of Darkness, as we have been led to believe. We should always be able to openly discuss any subject ... with an open mind for Truth. There are billions of opinions (mine included), but only ONE TRUTH. Let's continue our search to find it, and share it.

WHATS INSIDE THE BOX?

Everybody loves to get presents. Either in-person, a package in the mail, or just a surprise simply out of nowhere. But try and imagine how silly it would be if we just stared at the box and never opened it to look inside. Think about that for a moment. A lot of things come in boxes. Rings, bicycles, books, even refrigerators. Just by looking at the box, most times, we have no idea what lies within the box. We have to open the box the find what's inside. 

When we open a box that has nothing in it, we say it's empty. There's nothing in it. But that isn't the Truth. The Truth is the box is full. You just can't see what's inside. An empty box is filled with many things. Atoms, protons, electrons, bacteria, cells, energy, dust particles, and air. So, let's talk about the air for a second. Among the ancients, the Greek word for air is “Pneuma.” The same word used for wind ... and used for Spirit. So just like the Truth behind whether a glass is half full, or half empty ... it is always full. You just can't perceive the entire contents with your five senses. It's the sixth sense that can see beyond physical matter into the realm of Spirit. 

Now that you know this, try and visualize yourself as a box. Your body contains things seen and unseen. It is a type of box. Among the ancients, they believed the body to be a tomb where the Soul was trapped here in the lower realm. Your box-body is the outer package contained within the universe that holds various contents. There are organs, blood, ligaments, tendons, bones, tissue, nerves, cells, all unseen from the outside. But your box also contains unseen things on the inside as well. Air, Spirit, Soul, consciousness, Mind, thoughts, imagination, emotions, feelings, intellect, intuition, language and communications skills, and we haven't even touched on the powers of your subconscious, unconscious, conscious, and superconscious Mind powers. 

Remember, we are designed from the inside out. We are not born INTO this world, but we are born OUT of this world. We come out of our Mother, just as a leave comes out of a tree. As the tree comes out of the Earth, and so on all the way back to the point of the origins of all things, or more properly, this ONE thing we call the universe. Technically, there are no "things" there is but ONE thing and that is all that exists ... and that one thing is Mind. We believe it to be physical, but in reality ALL is mind. 

When you touch a table, you're not really touching it. There is no way you could ever touch it. The process is all mind. The vibration and energy of the table interacts with your vibration and energy, and is transferred - via energy and electrical impulses - through your nervous system and into the sensory portions of your brain. Here, they are categorized and labeled according that what we have been taught to label them. But the entire experience ... is happening IN YOUR HEAD. Your experience of "touching the table" is actually occurring inside your Mind. Nothing outside of our Mind and senses can ever be experienced outside of us. All of our sensory perception centers are in our head ... the temple of God. Why do you think the sides of our heads are called "temples?"

The “Great Throne of Judgement” spoken of by God, sits atop your shoulders. Judgement means decision. And where do your decisions come from? Jesus was quoted as having said "the Kingdom of God is within you." St. Paul said "we are the body of Christ." This means that if we look deep enough inside our box, we will find the Spirit of who we really are. We are an eternal essence of all that is. We are the Christ Consciousness ... the begotten Son of God having transformed from the Son of Man upon the realization, illumination, and ascension of our thoughts and actions. We are not physical beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a physical experience. Look in your box. Deeper and deeper. Things of great value are usually wrapped in deep, protective layers.

TRANSFORMATION OR METAMORPHOSIS 

Transformation means to go from one thing to another. Metamorphosis is to transform from one thing, into something greater. Metamorphosis (Greek word meaning transfigured - meta/after - morphosis/beautiful form) describes, for example, the conversion process from caterpillar to butterfly. But this is a very interesting process. You see, the slimy caterpillar of no particular beauty, crawls along the ground until eventually entering it's temporary prison. The chrysalis, or cocoon. It resides alone and in darkness, not knowing what lay ahead. But when the time is right, it emerges as a beautiful winged Monarch Butterfly. Not merely a transformation, but a beautification into something better ... a metamorphosis. 

""And be not conformed to this world, but be 'transformed' by the renewing of your mind ..."

Romans 12:12 

The proper translation from the original Greek would've been "metamorphosis" rather than transformation. Once a caterpillar has become a butterfly, there is no going back. Even if it wanted to. It's just not possible. The same with the mind. Once it has morphed into a new and better way of thinking, it cannot go back to it's old ways. The desire is gone. The ability is gone. The old man is dead, and the new man has risen ... resurrected, and become born-again - in Mind and Spirit. 

Your true Self, your Divine Self, your God and Christ Self are eternal. You were with God/Source before you incarnated into matter here on Earth (lower frequency vibrating energy). An OT name for God is "Elohim" which is plural, not singular in the Hebrew (El is singular). This plural form means "one, made up of the many" ... that Father God, is made up of all the Sons/daughters of God. The particles, the fragments, that make up the entirety of the universe. 

Your Mother formed a garment of flesh for you, and your parents named you. You were conditioned and trained to believe yourself to be only human. To be only a physical being of matter. When you announce yourself to others, you precede the name your parents labeled you with ... by using your real name. I AM ... Robert. Or, I AM Diane. Do you see ... you are the I AM that I AM ... that WE ARE. This is why we asked earlier in Romans 12:2 to have "our minds renewed." Man fell from the consciousness of God, to the consciousness of Man, so ... God became man, so that man can become God by the renewing of the Mind. 

Colossians 3:10 reminds us to put on the new renewed man ... the Christ, the Spirit or Mind of God which is the All in All. The Source and destination of all things. The Alpha and the Omega. The beginning, and the end.
